We welcome drivers from 18 years old and above — including senior drivers over 75 (with a valid medical certificate). We do not impose an upper age limit.
Yes. For the main driver: an additional A$10/day applies for drivers aged 18–21, and A$5/day for drivers aged 22–25. Drivers aged 26 and over pay no surcharge. Additional drivers aged 18–21 attract A$15/day, aged 22–25 attract A$10/day, and aged 26 and over attract A$10/day.
Yes. Under Queensland law, drivers aged 75 and over are required to hold a current medical certificate confirming they are fit to drive. We may ask to sight this certificate at the time of collection. If you are unsure, please contact your GP or call us to discuss.
Yes. We offer delivery across the Gold Coast area. Simply select "Deliver to address" on the booking form and enter your address. We'll confirm the delivery arrangement and any applicable fee when we contact you to finalise your booking.
Our Hyundai Elantra is priced at A$45/day for rentals under 7 days, A$275/week for 7 or more days, and A$1,000/month for 30 or more days. Young driver surcharges may apply — see above. All prices are in Australian dollars.
Yes. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the pick-up date are free of charge. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee equivalent to one day's rental. Please contact us as early as possible if your plans change.
You will need to bring your current, valid Australian driver's licence (or overseas equivalent if applicable) and a form of ID. Drivers aged 75 and over must also bring their medical certificate. International visitors should also bring their passport.
Yes — up to 2 additional drivers can be added at the time of booking. Each additional driver must hold a valid licence and meet our age and licence requirements. Surcharges apply for additional drivers aged under 26.

Terms & conditions

Please read these terms carefully before making a booking. By confirming a booking with Any Age Car Rentals you agree to the following conditions.

1. Eligibility to hire

  • The main driver must hold a current, valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type.
  • Drivers must be at least 18 years of age at the time of hire.
  • Drivers aged 75 and over must present a valid medical certificate issued by a registered medical practitioner confirming fitness to drive. We reserve the right to decline hire where no certificate is provided.
  • All drivers listed on the booking must be present at collection and produce their licence.
  • International licence holders may be required to present an International Driving Permit alongside their licence.

2. Booking and payment

  • A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Any Age Car Rentals.
  • Full payment (or an agreed deposit) is required prior to or at the time of vehicle collection.
  • Quoted prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST.
  • Young driver surcharges, additional driver fees, and any delivery charges are payable in addition to the base rental rate.
  • We reserve the right to amend pricing with reasonable notice for future bookings.

3. Cancellation policy

  • More than 48 hours before pick-up: Full refund, no charge.
  • Within 48 hours of pick-up: A cancellation fee equal to one day's base rental rate applies.
  • No-show: The full booking amount will be forfeited.
  • To cancel, contact us by phone or email as early as possible.

4. Use of the vehicle

  • The vehicle must only be driven by drivers named on the booking agreement.
  • The vehicle must not be used for any illegal purpose, off-road driving, racing, or towing.
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the vehicle. A cleaning fee of A$250 will apply if evidence of smoking is found.
  • Animals are not permitted in the vehicle unless prior written approval has been obtained. A cleaning fee may apply.
  • The vehicle must not be driven outside Queensland without prior written consent from Any Age Car Rentals.
  • The hirer is responsible for all traffic infringements, tolls, and parking fines incurred during the hire period.

5. Fuel and condition

  • The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to do so will result in a refuelling charge at current market rates plus a A$25 service fee.
  • The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as collected, fair wear and tear excepted.
  • Any damage found at return that was not noted on the pre-hire inspection will be the hirer's responsibility.

6. Insurance & damage liability

  • Any Age Car Rentals does not provide insurance as part of any rental.
  • In the event of any damage to the vehicle, the Renter will be required to pay whichever is the lesser amount of: (a) the insurance excess applicable under their own policy; or (b) the quoted repair cost as assessed by the Company. Where the Renter holds no insurance, the full quoted repair cost applies.
  • The hirer is also responsible for damage to third-party property or injury caused while operating the vehicle.
  • In the event of an accident, the hirer must not admit liability and must notify Any Age Car Rentals immediately on 0421 096 170.
  • A police report must be obtained where required by law or where another party is involved.
Important — No Insurance Provided: We strongly recommend the Renter holds their own comprehensive vehicle insurance or confirms their personal insurer covers rental vehicles before commencing hire. If no insurance is held, the full quoted repair cost is payable.

7. General

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
  • Any Age Car Rentals reserves the right to refuse hire at its discretion.
  • These terms may be updated from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking applies.

Damage liability & insurance

  • Any Age Car Rentals does not provide insurance. The Renter is responsible for ensuring adequate cover is in place before taking the vehicle.
  • In the event of any damage, the Renter will be charged whichever is the lesser of: (a) the excess under their own insurance policy; or (b) the full quoted repair cost as assessed by the Company. Where no insurance is held, the full quoted repair cost applies.
  • The hirer is also responsible for damage to third-party property or injury caused while operating the vehicle.
  • In the event of an accident or damage, notify Any Age Car Rentals immediately on 0421 096 170.
  • Any Age Car Rentals accepts no liability for personal belongings left in the vehicle.
No insurance provided — damage liability policy: You will be charged the lesser of your own insurance excess or the full quoted repair cost. If you hold no insurance, the full repair cost is payable. Please confirm with your insurer that rental vehicles are covered before commencing hire.
